Starting on July 10th – 13th the Village of Dupo will be Oiling and Chipping the following roads: Lime St., Richard Ave., Stone St., 2nd St., 3rd St., Falling Springs Rd., Dianna Dr., Dale Dr., Nancy Dr., WIL Rd., Railroad Ave., Stonegate Subdivision, Lunceford Dr., Hillside Dr., Sugar Loaf Hill Rd., Sugar Loaf Dr., Adams Rd./Subdivision, Coulter Rd., Thielemann Rd., Tommy Dr., North 5th Starting at Young
Improvements are being made to the Main Street Historic Park located on Main Street across from Hucks. A little history is behind the Main Street Park.
The property was bought several years ago and has sat vacant, different efforts have never materialized to improve the property. Our current board has
been assessing our Main Street and felt it was necessary to improve the condition of the property. With 5 months in the planning and approval from
Illinois Department of Transpiration we are beginning the week of April 9th on new curbing, sidewalk and off street parking. Apavilion will be added at a
later date.
Coming later this spring/summer:
Repaving of Main Street from the Fire House through the Stoplights which are located just North of KNJ. Street and waterline improvements are
scheduled for Louisa Ave.
IDOT Construction: McBride Avenue will be closed for up to 14 consecutive calendar days in the location of the project and traffic will be detoured using
Stolle Road to the north and Industrial Drive to the South. The closure will be scheduled between June 4, 2018 and August 5, 2018 to avoid disrupting
school traffic. The closing is to paint the overpass on McBride.
