The Prairie Du Pont Levee District in conjunction with FEMA / Corps of Engineers will be putting up the floodgates on stolle Road / Triple lake’s going to 157 at the Levee Saturday May 4th, 2019 in the Am.
The Corps of Engineers / FEMA requires the gates to be installed to complete our 100-year certification on our Levee system.
Due to the water Rising and the river going above flood stage we believe this will be a good time to install the gates.
We will leave the gates up until it is deemed safe to take them down.
We are not anticipating any problems with our levees.
As always life and property is our number one concern for the citizens of the prairie Dupont Levee District.
